Congrats Blog Hop!

Welcome to a special blog hop......we are sending HUGE congrats to Kate and John from i {heart} papers!!!  I've enjoyed my guest designer position the past two months and I'm so glad to be included in this hop congratulating a very special couple on their marriage!

I've used some fabulous stamps from Avery Elle........Petals and Stems and Handwritten Notes!  (Both these sets are available at i {heart} papers!)  I've masked the blooms and leaf image from Petals and Stems in various colors.  I then added a sentiment and I LOVE how Handwritten Notes has these little "extra" phrases to add to your sentiments!  To embellish just a bit, I've added some iridescent sequins, white satin bow, and prisma glitter.

dance & gleam

Hope your weekend is going well!  We went to a friend's home last evening for a Cajun dinner featuring shrimp and crawfish!  It was delish!  Today we are heading out to see our son play some fall baseball games!  The weather is gorgeous.....blue sky and cool temps!

I'm still on a roll with Halloween cards......must be that 12 Kits of Occasions post I've been working on for tomorrow!  So you must come back for that!

I have an easy all stamped Halloween card......First I do want to disclose that I do love my pattern papers and I've added one in here but I do love to get back to the roots of my cardmaking......STAMPING!  All the goodies uses today can be found at i {heart} papers!! Happy Halloween

I don't think I've mentioned that I'm in the process of organzing my dies........yes, this is a HUGE project for me.  Some of you have seen before pics......none of which I am going to share just yet.  I will share later.  :)  Just know that while I am creating and posting, I am also trying to get this marked off my to-do list!

I found some time to play with an older Neat & Tangled set called Halloween Scene.  I need several Halloween cards this year for the kiddos in my family......so, check one more to-do off my list!

I pulled out some vellum to stamp my ghosts on to and trimmed them out.  The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is one stamp so 'Happy'  was selectively inked onto one part of a die cut banner and then again with the word 'Halloween' on another part of a banner.

Happy Halloween

I'm going to send this over to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for Anything Goes this week!

I'm busy working on the next installment of the 12 Kits of Occasions post that will be up on September 30th and it's all a little 'scary'!!!

The world is......

brighter because of you!
This is just to thank you all for always visiting and making my day with your kind comments!
Reading them, makes MY world brighter!

I had some fun with this card.....kinda out of my element.  It's vintagy (in my eyes)!!  My first intention was to cover up the balloon with the banners but I loved the pop of color to that side of the card so I moved my banners over and I LOVE how it turned out!  A big THANKS to Sharron for this layout....I fell in love with it!

I've used the stamp set Let it Be from Verve for that wonderful sentiment!

Timeless Twine meets Peachy Keen Stamps!

Hello!  Happy Sunday to you!  We are gearing up for an outdoor concert tonight......Florida Georgia Line!!!  I am so excited.....the whole family is going and then some!!!

I'm continuing the kickoff of the sweet cross promotion between Timeless Twine and Peachy Keen Stamps!  I've got a couple of cuties for you today using both these products.

My first card uses a stamp set called Say it with Flowers and a sentiment from Lady Bug Thank You!  I've colored the flowers with various Copics and stamped a thank you sentiment.  Finishing this card off is the Cherry Red Timeless Twine.

Thank You!

Next up is this adorable pair of little lunch box notes that will sure be making their way into my daughter's lunch sometime!  I've stamped and paper pieced the images from Lady Bug Thank You! and You are a Star.  The frames were created by die cutting 2 dies together from Lil' Inker Designs.  One frame the Tuxedo Black Timeless Twine was used to line the frame and the other was embellished with a simple tiny bow.

Kelly Purkey/SSS STAMPtember® Blog Hop!

****For my CAS-ual Fridays Challenge post, please click HERE****

I'm SUPER excited to be helping Simon Says Stamp celebrate their STAMPtember® stamp party!!!
Today we are sharing projects featuring the new Kelly Purkey/Simon Says Stamp products!  Don't forget to check out the rest of Kelly Purkey's line and project kits found over at Simon Says Stamp.....HERE.
You should have arrived from the AMAZING blog of Laura Bassen!  If not, please start back at the Simon Says Stamp blog to get started.  I have several cards to share so let's get started!
My first card uses 2 new stamp sets from Kelly Purkey.  I've stamped the striped banner from Documented on a white panel in bright fun colors.  The sentiment (which I LOVE LOVE BTW), from I Like You, was stamped with black StazOn onto vellum and layered over the banner panel for a muted look.

I like you

My next card uses this cute Flamingo die all glittered up with Prisma Glitter.  My sentiment, from
Documented, was stamped onto a White Label (Kelly Purkey) and popped up with foam adhesive.  All this was layered onto pattern paper from Lucky Charm by Dear Lizzy.  A few pearl sequins (2 sizes) were layered together, topped with a clear gem, and scattered onto my card.

Flamingo

My last card uses this awesome badge type die called Wish You Were Here.  I've die cut it twice and inlaid the white pieces back into the red die cut.  This really makes the sentiment pop!  Using some of my pattern paper stash from Urban Traveler by Simple Stories, I've divided the 2 papers with a piece of Chevron Washi Tape by Kelly Purkey and added some kraft twine.  My Wish You Were Here die cut was adhered using foam adhesive.
Wish you were here

Thank you so much for joining us today and your next stop is my good friend, Laurie Willison!
Have a great day!!!

Introducing.......Autumn Splendor!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all are having a great start to your weekend!  The temperature is WAYY cooler this weekend than last......fall is in the air!!  This week my son has the opportunity to play their football game at the KSU Wildcat stadium!!!  The boys look forward to it all year!

You are probably wondering what I'm introducing........a new TWINE color from Timeless Twine by Bella Creationz called Autumn Spendor!!!  It's just perfect for fall, Disney, or many other occasions!  It is a wonderful mix of black, white, yellow, and red.  I know I will be using this a lot!!

I have a sweet "thanks" card using a new stamp set called Forever Fall from Reverse Confetti.  I've added stitching to a piece of pattern paper from the Happy Haunting 6x6 collection by MME.  My sentiment (also from Forever Fall) was stamped in Black Staz-On onto vellum so that it could be layered over the die cut leaves.  Adding in some new Autumn Splendor twine to the vellum banner was the perfect touch!

Neat & Tangled September Release {Day 5}

Welcome to the last day of the September Release from Neat & Tangled!  Danielle has designed some amazing holiday themed sets, don't you think???  Are you ready for one more post?

I've used stamps from the Merry and Bright stamp set.  This set features ornaments and lovely sentiments in Danielle's handwriting!

a little SPARKLE2

I've heat embossed the ornaments onto PATTERN paper and trimmed out.  I love the look of this with the bold white embossing!  My card background is also pattern paper that I've added some clear heat embossed snowflakes from this set.  Adding in some gold sequins from Neat & Tangled, certainly gives it "a little SPARKLE, a lot of SHINE"!
